Since we are going back in time, here is an article that we used often to create those incredible twin engined monsters of the slots. Needless to say though, we did not just build a twin but a rewound twin with all the tweeking we could do. This article was a stepping stone for the next stage in slot car construction... building your own chassis. There will be some stuff on this stage as well. If you still have some of the old cans laying around and some of these old brass frames, try this simple twin on for size. Be prepared for some different kind of handling though. With some gooood silicone slicks on the back this thing would haul. Enjoy.
